Microsoft is being forcing users into the new Microsoft 365 + CoPilot subscription. That means a 40% price increase for the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription, for example (here, from 69€ to 99€).
If you have no use for CoPilot, and find it an annoyance only, there is the option to switch to the Classic subscription, although it looks only for a limited time, so be quick.
The switch is somewhat hidden, because of course Microsoft doesn’t want you to avoid its AI easily.
Just trying to change subscription type won’t help. you will only be able to switch it from yearly to monthly, or viceversa. Instead, in the subscription management page of your Microsoft account, you have to select the option to disable recurring billing.
Here you will find the option to activate the “Classic” subscription without CoPilot, at the same price of your actual subscription. Select it, and then select the payment option, and when done a message appears you’ll be switched on next renewal:

Be careful that one done that, Microsoft will also add an “helpful” Don’t switch to Microsoft 365 xxxxxx Classic on xx/xx/xxxx option. Don’t click it by mistake.
